INDIANAPOLIS – As wildfire smoke continues to affect air quality across North America, Carrier is rolling out a new program to help families and workplaces stay safe indoors.
Smoke from wildfires can seep inside buildings and pose serious health risks. Carrier recommends using HVAC systems with strong filters, sealing windows and doors, and running portable air purifiers with HEPA technology.
“Smoke doesn’t belong indoors,” said Nick Arch, Carrier’s VP of Residential Solutions. “Our products are built to protect the air families rely on.”
Carrier is also giving back—donating $2.5 million worth of air purifiers to Los Angeles schools and frontline workers.
