Saudi Arabia’s Cabinet has issued a strong condemnation of recent assaults executed by Houthi forces on civilian and economic sites located in Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran, labeling these incidents as clear acts of aggression. In response, the ministers reiterated the kingdom’s right to protect its sovereignty, as well as the safety of its citizens and residents against such incursions. They also voiced their opposition to Houthi aggression targeting commercial vessels and international maritime routes in the Red Sea.

These attacks have reportedly resulted in injuries to more than 70 individuals, including women and children, across various Saudi cities. In light of these events, authorities have been instructed to ensure that the victims receive the highest standard of medical care available.

During the Cabinet session, which was chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Jeddah, discussions also touched upon the ongoing situation in the Palestinian territories. The focus was on the collective Arab efforts to counter Israeli measures in Jerusalem and the expansion of settlements.

The meeting also served as a platform for the Crown Prince to update ministers on his recent dialogues with the leaders of Egypt, Greece, and Oman, emphasizing the importance of these interactions in addressing regional concerns.

In addition, the Cabinet expressed approval of a new agreement between the foreign ministries of Saudi Arabia and Germany, aimed at establishing a strategic dialogue. This initiative is intended to enhance consultation and coordination between the two nations, marking a step forward in bilateral relations.
