Saudi Minister Discusses Economic Collaboration with Maldivian President in Male Visit

During an official visit to Male, Saudi Minister of State Prince Dr. Mansour bin Mutaib bin Abdulaziz engaged in discussions with Maldivian President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. The visit coincided with celebrations marking the 61st anniversary of the Maldives’ independence, underscoring the robust relationship between Saudi Arabia and the Maldives.

Prince Mansour’s participation in the independence anniversary events highlighted the enduring ties between the two nations. The meeting with President Muizzu served as an opportunity to reinforce the strong diplomatic and cooperative bonds that Saudi Arabia shares with the Maldives, reflecting a mutual commitment to continued collaboration.

Upon arriving at Velana International Airport, Prince Mansour received a warm welcome from key Maldivian officials. He was greeted by Dr. Abdulla Khaleel, the Maldivian Foreign Minister, along with Mohamed Naseer, the Principal Secretary to the President on Foreign Relations, and Saudi Ambassador to the Maldives, Yahya Hassan Al-Qahtani.

The interaction between Prince Mansour and the Maldivian leadership during this significant national event underscores the importance of the relationship between the two countries.
